I’m super excited to have back on the show an inspirational and vastly knowledgeable health expert, Sat Hari, speaking on a variety of topics ranging from genetics to the effects of negative thinking on health. We start out discussing an excerpt I played from John-Roger’s seminar “Adapting Towards Health or Adopting Disease” (avail. at msia.org). She tells a story of her recent Tony Robbins workshop experience of walking on hot coals, and also gives some suggestions of recommended tests and a machine she finds useful, as well as other techniques. As promised, you can get links to all the resources we mentioned on the show below.

Testing for MTHFR and Genetic Testing for your body’s response to medications, which Sat Hari wanted to make sure I corrected what she said that it is blood and saliva testing. I will get back with more info on her recommended testing labs, but if you have used a service like 23andMe or other mainstream DNA testing, you can download your raw DNA data and run reports through different sites to get info on your MTHFR and other info (be sure to read their privacy policies before giving them access to this sensitive data…if you choose to at all). A quick google search about ways to analyze your raw data gives a myriad of resources. Please know that much is still being learned and much is not understood in this field, so what is true today may be different tomorrow. So use your brains! I have to tell you to do all this under the guidance and supervision of a doctor. Most doctors aren’t educated in genetics or the effects they can have on medication, so I would recommend finding one who is if you are interested in pursuing this.

I recorded this episode shortly after the fires in So Cal. I talk about the fires and what spiritual and practical resources I used, including the MSIA Light List (available at msia.org/prayer-list) and a great emergency preparedness bag by Uncharted Supply Co (available here unchartedsupplyco.com). I also share about the aspect of my work with John-Roger that taught me how to be prepared for adverse events.
In this episode I am super excited to have interviewed Sat Hari about her most unique life story. From the experience of growing up close to spiritual teacher Yogi Bhajan, being a Sikh in American elementary school, to going to a boarding school in the foothills of the Himalayas with no heat, living with Giardia for years in India, scrounging for change for food after returning to the USA, to touring the world with the Red Hot Chili Peppers and advising the most famous and wealthiest people in the world about health. She shares about a cancer treatment being done in Switzerland as well as items you can get on Amazon*. Nat talks about courage and integrity before the interview, with an excerpt of John-Roger from the Merv Griffin Show that you can find here https://vimeo.com/59267001 .
