In this episode, I look more in depth at intention, cooperation, persistence and planning in the context of manifesting using Purpose Filters. I share excerpts about this topic from John-Roger’s seminar “God is Intention” (avail. at msia.org).
These are concepts that we will be working with and applying in our lives during my upcoming Purpose Filters for Success 3 month course (which you can get here)
This episode has two timely interviews for this time of pandemic, one with Arlene Stepputat (dyingingrace.com) and the other with Rebecca Davies (rebeccadaviesost.com).
Arlene is a death doula, and has assisted many people in the process of preparing for death and the actual transition. We look at our relationship to death as individuals and as a society, and how this pandemic is really bringing this discussion to the forefront.
Rebecca is a women’s health expert who has been working with women to address their specific issues during a time of worldwide lockdown. We discuss ways in which women can better support themselves and techniques for doing so.
In this interview, we discuss Robert’s view on all the shifts happening right now on the planet due to the pandemic. He really gives a wonderful reference point for how to see it, and practical, uplifting ways we can relate to the changes.
He also tells a great story (you know how I like stories!) about how taking part in psychological tests in the Army was a pivotal experience in moving onto his spiritual path.
In case you don’t know, Robert is an awesome spiritual educator and has been teaching courses and working directly with people (doing spiritual sessions and aura balances) for over 45 years. He is an author and a truly amazing consciousness, and I hope you enjoy his interview! You can get more about him here.
In this episode, recorded in the lockdown due to the worldwide coronavirus response, I discuss the tools that I have found valuable during this time for dealing with an uncertain future and a challenging present, including the money magnet, clearing the consciousness, spiritual exercises, freeform writing and more. I tell stories from my life with my teacher, John-Roger, that shed light on how I learned those tools in the first place.
In this interview with John Morton, we discuss topics from the coronavirus, transcending fear, the importance of attitude, and how John handles challenging situations in his own life. John is the Spiritual Director of the Movement of Spiritual Inner Awareness, Chancellor of University of Santa Monica, board member of Insight Seminars as well as an author.
Here is John’s blessing from the episode:
“Dear Lord, we welcome Your presence in all the dimensions, especially those that come from the highest consciousness and the highest good. That each one of us is tuned in a very personal way to the divine nature, to our inherently good nature, and we always have the opportunity to let go, which is a way of releasing and trusting that any negativity that is upon us, or we in some way have perpetrated and allowed, can be released, and released at the highest rate, which can be here and now completely.
So we come into the blessing of knowing all things serve good, and have our entire consciousness aligned and attuned so we are maximizing the greatest good, and releasing ourselves from unnecessary choices and whatever we have created in the negative form. That there is mercy, there’s grace, there’s loving that joins us openly, willingly because we have asked. So it’s just a simple process of asking for the greatest blessings, maybe in this moment that just becomes singular. The consciousness of one blessing. One thing in particular that our awareness is upon right now as the blessing. Perhaps it’s simply breathing in and breathing out and understanding that that is being done in some way beyond what we control. So the breath is a gift, a holy gift, it comes into our heart in the core of our being, and it comes to all, regardless of what we’ve done or created, God loves all of its creation. This is the blessing. Baruch Bashan”
I recently had the pleasure to interview someone with absolutely wonderful stories. In this interview with Emmy Award winning actress and all around amazing woman, Leigh Taylor-Young, she tells stories about Steven Spielberg, Ted Turner, John-Roger, John Morton (her husband), Jim Henson, Muktananda and ideas of risk taking, creativity, and confronting the challenges of the world with an uplifting attitude.
In my second interview with author, business founder and coach, Nick Segal, we discuss ideas of creativity in business, receiving feedback, having clear intention, and the beauty in the pause.
In the first episode of 2020, I had the pleasure to interview my friend and productivity guru, David Allen, at his home in Amsterdam. David is one of the premier authorities in the field, and his book, Getting Things Done, is an international bestseller and has been translated into 28 languages. I delve into the philosophical and spiritual underpinnings of David’s method, which is used by some of the most successful individuals and businesses in the world.
In this end of year episode, I discuss the quality of the year to come: Solid Foundation. I delve into what it means to build your life upon a solid foundation from a spiritual context, and how we can view all of the changes taking place from a higher reference point.
Nat: 00:09 Hi and welcome to transcend with Nat. This is Nat, I’m your host and it’s a couple days before Christmas here in Los Angeles. It’s been rainy. It’s been, it’s beautiful. Now out there looking at the ocean and I wanted, I was thinking about the year to come 2020 and looking at the meaning, the significance and the quality of the coming year, which is that of solid foundation and just meditating on and considering what that meant. And the other day I kinda got a download of a bunch of information and that day also happened to open my inbox and a loving each day, which is a daily email I get that has J-R, John Roger, my teacher’s quotes in it had this to say, “Your responsibility is to live now in this present moment. If you do that and lay your foundation, the future will take care of itself.” Now, there’s a lot of changes happening in this world if you haven’t noticed.
